Folkmoot ($7-$14)
Folkmoot USA, North Carolina's Official International Festival, is a two-week celebration of the world's cultural heritage through folk music and dance. Held each summer across the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, Folkmoot features performances, parades and workshops by more than 350 performers from a dozen or so countries.

Shenandoah ($10)

The Foreigner ($11, $7 student)
When an englishman arrives at a rural Georgia fishing cabin for some much
needed relaxation, the wacky occupants give him an experience like none other. A
laugh-out-loud comedy of crazy characters and misunderstanding.

Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver ($11-$16)
The gospel music that we record and perform on stage has always been important
to me. Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver have made many more gospel recordings than
secular ones. It is apparent to me that the folks who buy our music and come to
our concerts feel, as I do, that there is no better message than the message of
Jesus Christ. It is my hope that my "musical mission" will lead others to Him.

Greater Vision ($9-$13)
Almost 200 times each year, the three gentlemen collectively known as Greater
Vision, unite to present the gospel in a way that has endeared them to audiences
across the U.S. and around the world. Their deepest desire is to encourage the
Christian listener to share their faith with others and to cause the listener who isn't
a believer to see their need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Smoke On The Mountain ($11, $7 student)
The Sanders Family Singers celebrate in old-timey gospel singing and testimony
as Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church welcomes its first electric light. A rip-roaring,

Mike Speck Ministries ($8-$10)

Ronnie Milsap ($24-$31)

The Reach Up Tour
This "Reach Up tour" will allow students in the area to bring their friends and hear
the Gospel in a youth friendly atmosphere with a worship band, speaker, drama,
and media. It is the culmination of smaller events held by Macon County churches
leading up to this rally.

Annie ($11, $7 student)
Shortly before Christmas, 1971, Martin Chamin, a lyricist and director, bought a
collection of "Little Orphan Annie" comic strips and began imagining a musical
comedy based on the main character. After convincing librettist Thomas Meehan
and composer Charles Strouse to join him in writing the show, Charmin and his
collaborators created the musical together.

Founded in 1964 by Jake Hess, The Imperials have always embodied excellence in
both music and ministry. Millions have embraced the quality, sound, and popularity
of The Imperials, and they have become a household name around the world. With
roots in Southern Gospel, The Imperials made a name for themselves and quickly
became the most visible vocal group in Christian Music. 

The Velveteen Rabbit ($11,$7 student)
When a boy receives a Velveteen Rabbit for Christmas, the toy soon becomes his most prized possession and best friend, much to the chagrins of the other toys in the nursery. As times passes, the stuffed rabbit learns about the magic of friendship, the pain of loss and the inevitable truth of growing older.
